Hay guys Im hooked on electrics I had to get that out ok lets go I have a 43'' gas mono with a zenoah no more gas I need your help with a sport setup for a boat of this size I look at CC 2028 at 780kv is this motor overkill? and on the ESC do I need a HV or LV esc I like to run 8s sorry for all of this Im new to the game

Well the lads will help you out...that is a large hull and expensive to outfit for even sport boating...what are your goals...speed...run time, and the biggy $$$$ you want to spend.
In my opinion you are looking at 10S as a miinimum and an HV ESC...motor?

I run a Castle 1717 on 6s in my 39" mono and get 55mph out of it..................the 1717 would work if you dont go gonzo on the prop.

If you want larger, check out the Leopard 5692 1000kv for 8s

Ditch the expensive castle 2028 and go with the Leopard 5692 or castle 1717. And don't expect 15 minutes of run time from any FE setup! You're post is kinda hard to understand.
