    Fire!!!!

    Well I got my 6v battery in today plugged it up to my tactic 2.4 receive and flash my receiver caught fire what happend

    Don't know ... I have used 6v receiver packs in several boats with no problems.

      I was using 3 pin plug all polarity right so it was in the receiver will OCE replace it.

        I think the same thing happened to Tony (ProperChopper). He had a Tactic 2.4Ghz receiver go up in smoke (possibly fire). I do not know if he determined the cause of the problem or not. I think from now on he is making sure they are waterproof, but I am not sure if he thinks that was the cause or not.

          I've been running a 6v pack for quite some time now with Tactics, and no probs yet. Did you disconnect the bec of the speed control?
