when your boat goes over in a lake that is round can you just wait for the wind to slowly bring it in,??

what im asking is will esc or servos be damaged if they have power and are just sitting there for 5 to 10 mins while i wait (if i cannot get boat with my tennis ball and fishing rod ) and havent a retrevial craft ..

as long as its not getting them wet they should be just fine.

Some servos will eventually be permanantly damaged after getting wet inside.The esc's Ive run have always worked after being wet.I have 2 SeaKing 120's that have been wet numerous times.I also sprayed all electronics with Corrosion X.Buy a can,its well worth it.

I like to run within "casting distance" of my fishing pole. It's more exciting when you run closer to shore anyway!

Sounds like you should build yourself a retrieval boat. Cheap, easy, and we've learned it can be as much fun to play with as a real boat. Especially when you get together with your friends, add some beer and whisky, and the "y'all hold my beer and watch this" comes out. They're not touching my real boat/planes.
