It will work... it will be lots of power... good 5s and 6s motor, I'd run a x442 to start and get the setup right..., then a x445 after you've got the setup close... no question about it... I'd run a Seaking/Turnigy 180 esc!

All the power that 1520 has is going to wreck havoc on that plastic hull...JMO

Turnigy/Seaking 180 amp ESC, that castle motor on 6s, with a 42mm prop i would bet you will Rip!! 1600kvx22.2v=35520rpm, heck thats a reliable setup i bet you could even go bigger on the prop.

No HV on the 180.2-6s lipo.Id run an external BEC or a reciever pack if running 6s.Some people have had luck with using the esc's BEC,but some havent.I run on the side of caution and use an external.

while I've had luck running the internal bec on 6s.. it does cause the esc to run considerabely warmer, and the fact you will be running it on a good sized motor with some real amp draw I would definately run it on a external bec or reciever pack.. I think the early T180's were the ones most known for bec burnups, but still Its very easy to run external power and your esc will thank you for it...

I'd just get a lower kv 540xl with a jacket that covers the entire can and use the stock esc. Something like a 13xl. If the esc still shuts down, get a turnigy/seaking 120. I also think the 1520 will be over-the-top for the spartan hull.
