Another pursuit mono but need help???

ok i love the look of the pursuit and plan on setting it up for EA racing here in aus with leopard 3674 2200 kv or castle 2200kv,seaking 180 amp esc w/program card, one piece flex shaft,4s lipo,x442 prop.

Now after reading alot of threads no matter which version i have seen four one at kintec.hobbyking, astec hobbies, and one from one of my LHS whic i was going with that one they all seem to have similarites but 2 things in common wheak mounts and 2 piece flex shafts.

So i duuno which version to go with as some have had problems with leaking and such im hoping for a version without that prob if such exists but if not those seal things from kintec would they be the best soultion.

The prob is at the moment i dont have the cash to do everything so i had this in mind so i could at least run it and not have it lyin around waitin for parts and of course strengthen all the mounts and protect the wood.

180 amp esc/program card, one piece flex, stock motor on 2s as i need a 2s for a diff project im just waitin on an email from my LHS as to which brand of motor/esc. also here is the link to my LHS version the only diff is its the old stock version the new version is coming with better 2000kv motor and 120amp esc but as i said whos to know what brands lol hopefully i get an email soon here is the link http://www.ozrcboatsupplies.com/electrics.htm

The main reason i was goin to go with hobbyking/LHS as when i replace the motor/esc i was going to use what came outta it to put in my rio ep but with hobbyking the boat is much cheaper and only has a 1600 or so kv motor which would work with my rio.

So any help on the better version would be awesome before i spend the money

Get the cheapest hull with the hardware possible because they will all need to be gutted and reworked.

With the ones I have seen, the motors in them are the weak link. Very cheap, very inefficient.

I doubt if you will be happy running this boat on 2S. My guess is that it will clock in high20's to low 30's and that is about it. The hull is 60 MPH capable and I have had it to 58 MPH (I am really just a novice.) Play with the boat knowing full well that to get it really moving you need to upgrade the motor and ESC. I still run the stock shaft and have had no problems with it. Make sure you provide adequate floatation

i am getting an twin brushless apparition cat 1st as it was alreday ordered before i knew (sneaky birthday prez from the misses lol).

So ill focus on that first but when i do get the pursuit ill get all the right parts,180 amp esc, either castle mamba max or leopard3674,single flexshaft,x442 prop, reinforce mounts. Thanks for all the help guys its greatly appreciated.

Or i could scrap the pursuit idea and setup a proboat stiletto lol wouldnt need anywork maybe a higher amp esc/ and faster motor later on
