    DF Cyberstorm 32 RTR

sorry to start a new thread but I've searched and can't find the answers.
Could anyone tell me how much I should be paying for the df cyberstorm 32" rtr? and I have a dx3s with my losi XXL, if I was to put the same rx in the boat I'd be able to use the Tele funtions, would this work?

1380 KV outrunner w. cooled motor mount

        Super nice graphics

At first glance, 1380 KV seems a little low for a 4S setup, but the boat comes with an X447 prop which should make up for the KV & give great acceleration.

The outrunner motors give tremendous torque so you can run much bigger props & the sure way to get more speed is with bigger props rather than much higher revs & smaller props. If you can go up to a bigger prop the amount you have to raise the rpm on a smaller prop is an awefull lot to reach the same speeds + youll also have less torque. Thanks Martin.

Prop, I know of that picture, link and stats. I've been told they are not being done right now.

Thats where this part of my comment comes from "quite yet".

Are you talking about the standard RX that comes with the DX3S, if it is it's not marine approved and you may have signal issues.

I've just received an email back from DF.

"Regarding your inquiry of 32" cyberstorm RTR's products, we will start to receive order from March 2011. It is due to the Chinese New Year period from early Feb to mid Feb.
Retail price :USD 360 /pc. exclude shipping charge.
We will email you once the ordering process begin.
                  Thanks,
                  Best regards,

This makes me pretty happy, I've been searching for a good first boat and the TRX marketing nearly had me, even with all you guy's giving such great advice. I recon I can wait until march. After a little more investigating it seems the losi XXL I have comes with the ealier Dx3s model (spm3130) transmitter which won't work with the mr3000 rx unlike the newer spm3140, so now Im in a bind weather to upgrade my spectrum tx and be able to run both my truck and boat or does anyone have any better suggestions on a good radio system? and one more question, is this boat worth waiting for???

The video is of a Sniper 32, not a Cyberstorm almost RTR 32.
