Just tossing this out there. I will post my thoughts after some replies.

48" Mono, Castle 1717 1580kv motor, 6s lipo and Hifei 200amp lv esc.

Don't think that is enough motor. I tried that motor in my 45" cat and I couldn't get out of the low 40s on 6S and X447 prop.

As we always say: what are your goals? need to define what you mean by will it "work". if 40s is it, then the answer is probably.

With that big motor and 6S, I would go 2P and now we are talking close to if not over 10lbs....

What mono, what batteries and I would use a Turnigy 200 amp Monster HV.
