    p tunnel speeds

    what are the average speeds of p spec tunnels . i noticed a record on here was up to 71 mph ?

    I believe around 50 is the norm. Dick Loeb has the current IMPBA P Tunnel record at 53 mph with a P-Spec set up (UL1 motor and speed controller). I think Mike Luszcz ran a couple of one way passes at 70+, but with with a "T" (10S) Outboard Tunnel.

      So is there a differance between p spec tunnel and p tunnel?

        Yes, The "P-spec" classes are designed to be competitive while keeping costs down by allowing only a couple of motors and in some instances speed controllers with similar performance. Rules and legal motors vary depending on who you'll be racing with. With the "P" class you can run what ever motor and speed controller you want as long as your running the correct voltage battery packs which would be 4S.
