    Suggestions For Drivetrain

    Hey guys,
I have a 12 size rigger fthat I want to go FE with. I was wondering if you all had any suggestions as to wht I shoud put in it. I would like to get the max potential out of the hull. It's 25 inches long. Weighs about 1lb minus running gear. Looking for speeds in the High 50's low 60's I know the hull is capable of that. What motor/speedo/cell combo do you all recommend

    Thanks
    Zach

I would use .078 wire drive. I run a Matrix Rigger for fun on 4S1P lipo w/Neu 1515/1.5D and .062 wire drive...It has held up fine!!I bought this boat used and it was already set-up w/.062 wire, If I build another I will use .078 just to be safe! Speeds are 45-55 with diff. props...Hope this helps...
Nothing like keeping you lipos warm and your prop wet!!

Look at Neu motors and CC esc's...You will need good equipment to go that fast!! Look into Lipo batteries..Thunderpower has very good packs....

Look at the Hydra 120 or 240 to be safe!! Look at 1512/2D or 1515/1.5D both will work....And be very quick on 14.8V or 4S1P lipo...These motors have tons of POWER on lipo's......
