    Accepted Convention for Bullet Connectors

Is there an accepted convention for male/female bullet connectors say on the battery side?

I think I read it here: the battery is a "red hot mama"... easy to remember.

Also use red shrink on the positive bullets. I used to use all black and would occasionally touch the wrong wires. Luckily I never hurt any equipment. Just took a chunk off the bullets. Since I went red shrink for pos bullets I have never hooked up the wrong wires.

            Red-Hot-Female.

I also cut the battery negative wire 1/2 " shorter than the red and always cap the male connector with a small piece of large dia fuel tubing when not plugged into an ESC or a charger.
