Since UPS decided not to work for several days, I still do not have the cells. You should hear the excusses.....hum, I wonder if FedEx is any better.

UPS is amazing. They send a driver by the store to pickup stuff, but he could only pickup second and next day stuff. We had to wait until Monday to give him ground packages.

Well, they arrived, nice looking cells. I am running some today on the machines. By the way, I have two of the new Turbo 8 machines, very nice machines. Before we ever sell a cell or pack, we run two cycles on the cell to make sure they are good before sold. However, be aware that they can go bad latter as I am sure that many of you IB4200 users know. The 3600mah cells were the best in the past for lower failure rate, let's hope these 4,000mah cells are as good.

            thanks,
            Steve

The E4000 cells (25 of them) that I tested were all low voltage 3,000mah at 20 amps. I reported back and told I was incorrect about them. I have 2 brand new Turbo Matcher 8 machines, I guess they are bad. machines (smile)

Bottom line, stay away from these cells.....they are low current 3,000mah cells labeled as 4,000 high amp cells.

I am to the point that I no longer trust any NIMH high current R/C cells. I suggest that everyone go to Li-Poly or Li-Ion. If you must run others, run the 2400 nicads

So you saying that IB3600 cells in packs are the answer? The last ones I tested were just like the IB4200 cells.

That settles it for me with Nimh. I will run my 3600s to death and be done with them. I will also be looking you up in about 3 weeks Mr Hill. I will be making next sessons order.

Steve, are you saying the new IB3600 cells are not any good now? There are not any reliable/good NiMHs anymore? ur the battery expert.

Do you see me selling them? Maybe there are some good ones out there, they use to be but then went crap like the rest.
