    Functional Exhaust

I wanted to put exhaust stacks on my Sunkworks cat and fell upon this idea. These will also function as the water outlets! I have the OSE large water outlets and found the "stacks" at the auto parts store. It's like the parts were made for each other. I will let the pictures do the talking.

P.S. Put the valve caps on your car.

are you just going to do one stack and see if it works? id assume you could do two and get a pretty cool rooster tail :D but 4 it might just leak out

Very Cool Chuck. Etti makes some exhaust water outlets that are pretty trick. A little longer than the ones you made. I put a few on Mikey's boat but I cant remember where I purchased them.

BTW, Where did you get the caps you use for the 5.5 bullets???

I would also like some more of these (like the ones you had and gave me at the Chesapeake race)....

I believe RCMK and Toughracing has the water outlets shaped like exhaust, but pretty spendy for what you can easily do yourself.

The cost for this is less than $10.00 for water outlets and stacks. The outlets drop down into the stacks and and the lip on the one end is what is used to hold them in place. I will have one on each side as this is a twin build. The other will be a dummy glued in place or I may use button head screws through the hull for better holding power. Plus I can still use the caps on the car to offset the cost a bit.

                  Chuck

P.S. I got the caps for the batteries from McMaster-Carr.

McMaster-Carr is the complete source for your plant with over 595,000 products. 98% of products ordered ship from stock and deliver same or next day.

Ok the url isn't working quite right. They are the pliable vinyl caps 3/16-1/4.

You are correct. It is RCMK that makes them. RCMK makes gas motors and parts for those of you who are unfamiliar with the name.

                    Good catch

The price is pretty good for 100.

Those water outlets do look nice.

I decided to go with the button head screws. 5M x 15mm work well for this.
