Mono building questions ...MUST READ !

https://modelpowerboat.com/content.p...-hull-attitudeI have built several mono's in the past and allmost all of my hardware placements and everything else was basically guess work or theory and looking to see how everyone else did theres. All of my boats handled diffrently from each other , some turned better both ways, some turned great left only and one had very good high speed and rouph water handling but liked to chine walk......I found this article to help me and possibly others who may feel a little uneasy aboute whare they should start drilling holes for there hardware or whare they should put whatever...........read this and it should answer most questions. This article doesn't have all the answers but it is a good start........I have several questions myself this article doesn't address and I have my own answers to some of my question too . Its really easey for me to over think things and second guess myself and the trueth of it all is , its great building these things the way we like them..........my theory .......trade secrets !.................Some day my mono will beet up on yours...................HaHa !! Love this hobby !

Definitely good reading. This should be pinned, the same basic questions keep being asked. This way everyone can easily find it and read it.
