im building a new 22" Vee hull. im not sure how this hull will handle 3s power...but it looks good. can anybody that knows Vee hulls tell me if the steped transom will perform. im planing on using SV 27 stinger and rudder with a 1/10 VXL brushless set up.
will this work?

Are you planning on a submerged prop or a semi-submerged prop? The V sticks out pretty deep into the water. Perhaps a submerged prop will do any good. You could add strips in order to create steps. -
the vxl system is about 50k rpm at 11 volts so i need to run a smaller prop right? i have a 34x52.3 , 40x53 ,42x55 , and a SV 27 three blade and a BJ 26 two blade props to play with. like the hull shape but should i take out the step in the hull? what would make it faster? what prop would you start with?" Do you really need anouther boat "

I am thinking with a 22" boat, the 34mm should be fine, but that is a lot of rpm. Also, when running that hull is going to act like a 18" boat or so when the step is up and out.
Strakes: I have strakes molded out of bondo if you want me to mail you a few. Just glue them on, happy to help out.
I would run the prop as a surface drive, right out of the bottom of the Vee.
Something you might want to consider adding if it is hard to get on plane. That rear step can act like a water magnet if air can not vent into it holding the transom down until it breaks free. A large tube could vent it up above water line to break the suction. Like a 1/2" hole in the front of the step to a 1/2" line running up above water line. Just an idea IF it turns out to be an issue.

If its the traxxas VXL car system it would be 38,500 at 11 volts.NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE:http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=
