Is there "build in" timing on outrunners? -T600

I am thinking of using two turnigy t600 outrunners on counter rotating setup.
    (for my 58 apache build)

    Is that possible?

-if the motor has build in timing it wont work that good so any info of these motors? (atleast on some inrunners you can change timing by turning the endbel like on mod brushed motors)

I dont want one motor to have +5 and other -5 timing

I get that you usually set timing from esc but outrunners are so new(to me)

The outrunner that i use i set the same way through the esc as i do on inrunners, On an Etti esc ie 2degrees,7,15,30 depending how many poles the motor has & what type of running im doing. Short fast bursts of speed i set the timing higher. For normal type of running with my 6 pole outrunner i set it at 7 degrees but for more extreme speeds i can go to 15-30 degrees.

Unlike brushed motors, there is no built in timing on BL motors: inrunner/outrunner makes no difference. Timing is controlled in the ESC, it will get it right regardless of the direction of rotation. To run one motor in reverse all you do is swap two of the three motor wires, the ESC does the rest.

Thanks , I thought the same until I saw one in 10th scale touring car that had timing options. -first I have seen these! ( was something like this http://rcevilempire.com/2009/03/lrp-...shless-review/ )

But what I have read people building twin set up´s without issues I guess that these outrunners have 0 timing on them and just the esc sets the timing wanted.

That motor you referenced is a sensored motor, which is very rare in current FE boats but common in cars. In fact virtually no one runs sensored motors in FE boats except Wilmer. Sensored motors require a special ESC, the usual FE controller will not work. I ran a sensored Aveox motor a decade ago, no real advantages for FE.
