Adjustable strut help - my first build

    Hey everyone,
I'm doing a 25in monohull and need a little advice on how to install my strut so its adjustable. I have a strut like the one below; and the way it mounts, you can't really adjust it up or down because the stuffing tube goes right up against the strut. I noticed Darin had a really cool like carbon fiber tube that lets him adjust it up and down (see below). Does anyone have the specs on how he did that and where to get the carbon fiber tube.
    Thanks!
