    flex cable for Stiletto OB

Looking for a good flex cable for the stiletto OB.. Mine has a UL1 motor and it snaped the stock one after two runs.. It has the brass tube mod and was well oiled. Any sugestions?
    Thanks Roy

sure you had the correct one? There were some when they were first that were the wrong direction of flex

That's a good question? I bought the boat from Danny here on the forum and he put it together.
I didn't hear about this problem.

still could be check to make sure the motor was turning the proper direction for the flex.

They do snap easily, I've broke 2 already.

Try the Hyperformance one, you can find it here on OSE. You might need to shorten it just a little bit.

I don't see any on the OSE site that will work. I need one around 5" long and crimpt on both ends. Isn't there a guy named Kris (forgot his last name)on this forum that makes good ones? I did a search but found nothing.

                    Thanks Doug,
I know you told me his full name yesterday at the pond but if I don't write it down I forget...

I'm going to talk at him and see what he can make me up while I look for another OB to work with. I'd like to give this thing the benifit of the doupt and see if it will hold up to more than stock power?

The hyperperformance shaft works great and do not need to be shortened. I've used mine a dozen times with the ul-1 motor and no issues. The stock shaft square ends come bent from the factory and I never even ran mine.
