In users experience over say the last year or so what do you consider to be some of the best rtr boats youv had ie build quality, components use, reliability, less upgrades needed, speed & handling & just entertaining fun. Based on past experience rather than possible future boats coming out that may or may not meet such criterier. Martin.

I really like my venom p1 ekos. Needed a couple of tweaks like a new 40mm prop (stock was 36mm) and turn fins but overall a great looking hull and a lot of fun.Comment

I love reading Douggies posts.. They always kill me.
I really like my Proboat Geico, but its takes a bit of tweaking and some extended cash to really make it dance. I think out of the box, the SV is the way to go as well. Prop change and your done. No hardware issues, no wrong shafts, no broken shafts after 4 runs, no seized bushings, no cheap a$$ plastic hatches, etc etc. Handles pretty well and easy to learn from. Mines still bone stock and Ive run the heck out of it for over a year. Ive never replaced anything.Comment

Tell your buddies to put a pair of Proboat BJ 26 turnfins on their SV27'S and they will find it turns very well. The extra lenght makes all the difference in the world. BGComment

The best RTR my family has had is the Prince 25 . Kinetic are offering upgraded models that would fly over the origional with 3/16 flex and 540 motor. I also love the little Sniper 23. it goes and goes, available at OSE.
My first boat the sv27 has had every upgrade available at 3x the cost of the boat and isnt reliable or as well built as the first 2 mentioned. The fist 2 are much much prettier, cheaper to fix and run, being smaller.Comment
