    Gotta love craigslist

Larry found this on craigslist yesterday, I went this morning and picked it up.
Its a Phil Thomas 45 supersport. Looks like it has the radio box, front wing, and rear wing kit. Now I need some hardware, and power options.
Not a bad deal for $100.

Wow! What a deal! I keep checking our local craigslist but never see anything worthwhile. An occassional used up aquacraft for way too much money is about the limit.

Thanks, I couldn't believe it. He just put it up the day I called. Don't know how long it would have lasted.

Do you think a castle 1717 on 6s2p would move the hull?

I think it would :) the 1717 should be around 1527 territory which is a common pt45 powerplant... go for it!

Not quite. A 1717 is more like a 1521 at 3.3 inches long. A 1527 is 4 inches long. Also the 1717 is rated at 1750 watts. A 1527 is rated at 2250. Not a lecture just a reminder. Great score for the money on the PT45!

I hear ya John but the 1717 is larger diameter too... I went around looking for 1717 power info and couldn't find much... where did you find the 1750 watt info?

                              Amps X Volts = Watts. 120A X 25V = 3000W
