    esc ?

i'v got a scale model proboat coast guard mlb 46. one of the stock motors is out and i want to switch it to brushless.

The boat is a dual motor setup and i want to keep it that way for the pulling power as a rescue boat for my FE's. there is an exact model that has already been converted to brushless that is using a traxxas villan esc setup with fw and reverse.

I know that turnigy's 120amp esc say they have a forward running mode and a fw/rvse running mode, my question is, has anyone tryed it? i was thinking of running 2 3660 1600kv motors turning grim 40/57 3blades on 2s or 3s. I'm not looking for speed so 2s may be the max or even nmhd 7.4's.

does anyone know of a water cooled brushless esc that has fw/rvs that can run lipo's and/or mnhd? the duel motor single esc thread has got a lot of my intrest, but i'll run 2 esc's in this boat for the reliability as it is a rescue boat.

    idea's or suggestions?

after reading the 2 motor 1 esc thread again, "damn that is a good thread" i think i will be ok running 1 esc and 2 motors. the props on the boat don't ever leave the water the way it would on an fe boat so the load shouldn't shift the way it would in an fe. so i'm gonna try it with a hobbywing 180 esc i have and will report the results as soon as the motors come in.
