What setup is best

Hi folks. I have been more of a nitro fan of nitro for a few years, but I am going to give the electrics a try. I have a decent outrigger I am building and need some advise on what to do to power it. I have a Fiego 7XL motor I will be using. What should I use for:

Batteries

ESC

I have the rest, but don't know much about FE to get the right setup.

what rigger are you building?

Rigged Insanity

i would say 3s with a 120 or 150 esc and if you have the room run 2 3s packs in parallel

Go to the boat building section and just do a search on "insanity". There are 4 or 5 build threads that pop up on the 1st page of that search. No sense re-creating the wheel as others have had good results with that rigger.

You will have room for 2 2S 5000 packs. I used a UL-1 motor and ESC....Fast and turns on a dime at full throttle...here's a couple pics of it....
