Lots of you guys in the past donated money to OSE to support the troops running rc boats in Iraq. At the time the they spent a bunch of that money and than the troops running the boats disbanded to different areas. Well I still have some money left. I'm looking for ideas to what to buy with the left over money, my father suggested care packages or contacting the USO.

Steven phone cards are a great idea. Depeding on how much money you have prepaid phones whould be a good idea also. They are so cheap now. Personly I keep asking to inlist. My talents are wasted in the private sector...but the wife isnt having it.

You can even request that they start at the bottom of the rankings so the men with the lower ranks benefit first
I'm sure Officers & Staff NCO's can afford the call more than a Private, PFC or Lance Corporal can!We did it with a Bang!

While all are outstanding ideas --- the folks that donated money at the time did so in an effort to help those troops in country! While I was in country in Vietnam the USO handed out Duncan yo yo's ... got any idea what it was like to receive them from people back home! What a site to look around the base at Da Nang and see soldiers with an M16 on one shoulder and in the other hand walking the dog with a Duncan! PRICELESS!We did it with a Bang!
