Looks to be longer than the mile high motor. I have been experiancing the same thing but just replacing them with the mile high motor. i have three fried motors on the setup that is recommend for the boat

I delt with Mike Maloney from Mile High Rc, he is a good guy he might warrenty the motors for you. Email him and ask him. He's really good at Customer Service.

They eflite one is a 400 series motor so I think that it is close and same sizes, but i'm not sure.

I found a 2200KV motor from mile high, I think it is the 400f just a little milder than stock, might help with blowing these 2600KV 400DF's.....Or I might try a smaller prop (x430, X427)...I called Steve at R/Riggers and explained my problem, He is sending me out a new motor today!! What a great guy, easy to deal with and very helpful!! I will let you guy's know about the 2200KV later this week when it arrives....

I heard steve was a good guy, but when I screwed up a part he said he would send it to me when I called him and he never did, I had emailed him also with no reply. Hopefully you have better luck with that then I did. But when I bought the boat the shipping was really fast.

I haven' t finished my boat yet, but do you run the full battery charge when you run? because they said that you should only run it about 10 laps or something like that or a few minutes and bring it in and let it cool down. If your running it for extended period of time then just run a smaller prop.

Post some pics of your boat, I will post some of mine when I finish it.

I went all out on the motor and ESC, I actually found a way to out in a Mega 16/20/2 and a CC45 in there... the batteries could not take it... I tried different ones and still nada...
it is a B-E-A-S-T, never clock it since there is no room for a GPS but I am guessing higher 40's maybe 50's being a bit optimistic. Steve is a nice guy, he helped me out with the Renegade and other stuff as well, I wrote him a few days back and no response, I am thinking that something is up, he may be on a business trip or something.

looks pretty nice man! I can't wait to finish mine. Once mine is done I'm gonna start a shovel nose hydro project, gotta focus on one at a time lol. Hope everything works out when you get your new motors. Post a vid when you get it running again if you got a video cam.
