    boat getting AIR and flipping

can i ask you guys as i have always run gas ,and i had modded motors and my boats got up to 90 kms but they weighed a bit and never felt edgy ,

yet with brushless these boats are super light and super powerful ,i have a cat running on 4s and 2074 kv feiago does about 75km and everytime i take it out and push it it catches the wind and goes over ,now is this normal that evertime you take your fast baot out it goes over or is it just me and my heavy finger ??

You can move the COG forward.

Yep, you're too light in the bow. Move the battery forward! Balance at about 30-35% from the stern. If you still have trouble, your shaft angle is wrong. Run it parallel to the bottom of the sponsons with the prop shaft centered on the bottom of the sponsons also. Start there and then start raising the strut til you find the sweet spot.

If you tell us exactly what boat you have, we can probably help you with the setup.

so i understand correctly i mesure my boat at 35% from the stern (do i mesure the boat only or to end of rudder ) and place my batterys till i get a equal balance front to rear ??

Measured from the back of the sponson (ride surface) Not the transom, not the rudder.

Quite a few have done it w/ success. the Toysport Jolly cat I believe has one that can be installed. Bonewar made a servo controlled unit for his Martimo cat. Very cool stuff.
