I can't believe those 3026 HK motors are holding up but they sure are screaming on 7 and 8S! and only 80 amp ESCs.

Looks like a cheap way to go just on 6S

Jeff I think he finally smoked one or both of those 80 amper's. I thought they were kinda small.

Thats cool.Stick around here and you will learn quite a bit. There are a lot of very smart and nice people here that are always willing to help.
          As far as your
Genesis goes,Id run it on 3s with those motors.4s would be a "hot"set up for drag race type runs.If your wanting 70mph,Id get some higher quality motors such as Leopard 3674.I think this is the site-www.leopardhobby.com.Here is a mild 6s twin set up too-Leopard 4082 1500kv with 180 amp escs from Turnigy or SeaKing. With these motors,I think youll be in the mid fifties and be able to prop up to compensate for kv.70mph is pushing it.60mph is usually the limit for an rc hull.Either way,you should re-inforce the hull as its quite thin.

I already have some 4s 5000mah 50c lipos! Should i be ok running them? Would like to get used to the setup and then upgrade after i get some run time! Any idea what 4s might get me speed wise?

Running twin 6XL on 4s will be fast, that's for sure..
I bet mid 60s or better
I did try my 6XL in my MM on 4s and it snapped the shaft within 10sec!
But it was sure fast for those 10sec...

There may not be enough room for the 1717's. If there was i think with batteries etc/ she would be too heavy.
