    lipo balance question/problem

Is anyone else having a problem with cells getting way out of balance after sitting for 3 or 4 days? I am having problems (I think) with both of my 2s 5000 25C packs. The brand isnt important just yet, they are big name top $$ packs.
I have tried storing them 1/2 charged and fully charged the same thing happens after a few days (two or three) one cell is way off from the other like 25% off! I called the vender/tech and was told that this brand is the lowest resistance of any lipo and the voltages will "float" or "fluxuate" because of the low resistance.. Im having flashbacks of the 4200WC's!! hours of balancing at a time, does this sound normal to anyone?

My NEU batts balance out in about 1 minute, Thunder power take about 3-5 minutes and my Max Amps take the longest at 10 minutes.

I can leave my batteries charged 1/2 - 3/4 for a week or longer and then balance them and the time is pretty much the same or less.

how long till it balances itself back?

    What balancer are you using?

Its none of those 3 listed lol. 8 hours is my record so far, this is with a 100mah charge to help the lower cell come up, while bleeding the higher cell. V-balance balancer.

I don't know, but 8 hours to balance a battery sounds like something is wrong to me. Maybe Fluid or someone else will jump in and help you out

Ok, I guess my main question is (assuming there are different resistance enerland lipo cells) will the lower resistance lipos self discharge or float like the lower resistance nimh? If so, you do not want to use a stand off balancer, as it will not be able to bleed off enough, fast enough, to keep up with a 1C charge rate.
