Motor for P Spec, I believe the UL1 motor is suited. It is always good to run a higher Amp speed controller like the 120. Where in BC ??

Depends on district/club rules. In the IMPBA D12 we are limited to spec motor and esc such as used in the UL-1. One of the these days the IMPBA will update there rule book to reflect the changes in technology.

The P-Limited classes aren't official classes at this time.

I would get the UL-1 combo deal that is sold here in the offshore electrics website. The P-limited "spec" classes are by far the most popular race classes. The only other things you will need for fast electric is a lipo charger and lipos. I would recommend a 4s lipo with 5000mAh of capacity, or two 2 cell 5000mAh packs wired in series for 4S 5000mAh.

That seems to be a popular lower unit. Offshore electric also sells a conversion adapter for the OS unit so you can bolt on an electric motor.

The only other thing that you might consider is a separate BEC (Battery eliminator circuit) This will allow you to run your receiver and servo off of the main batteries. They are listed in the online store as well. If you don't want to use a BEC, you can always use a receiver pack like you did in the nitro boats.

That really depends on your budget. I run 35C and 45C packs. I haven't noticed much of a performance difference between the 35C and 45C in my P-limited setups.

These setups have been bullet proof for us.

Kris Flynn makes a great adapter for the OS lower unit and is a member here.
