    Inside a Mean machine pictures?

    Hey Guys.

I just got a mean machine and was wondering if any one has pics of the inside with an FE conversion.Mines got nitro stuff in it and need to know the best way to convert.

    Thanks!

Tear it all out! Start with a bare hull. The hardware is usable, but ditch the interior rigs for nitro parts and just build it like it was meant for FE.

You can do a search in the "building" section and find lots of them. Don't remember where this came from, but here is one I saved.

The hatch looks like it will be a pig to tape up.
Any tips on that would be greatly appreciated also.
We got my buddies Apparition up to 69mph but the hull gave out.
Hoping to get the MM up there.

Subhatch works nice... requires a nice layed down motor approach... or a bubble in the lexan....

but I also am in the process of starting a "flood hull" mean machine project, just bought the hull/hardware.... will post some pics of my progress when I make some.. :) these are pics of my electric layup MM....

Here is Randys (aka "RearWheelin") MM he built a few years back... a little inspiration for your speed atempts...

Whats the best way to get all the guts out?
Its got a box and some kind of tray down the middle glued on with a light colored substance.
Do i have to cut and grind...lol

                    Thanks

Heat it up. Use a hair dryer. Get the glue nice and soft, and pop it out.

                          that was easy!

                          i did use a heat gun though...lol
Are these ready to run MM made in Asia?
The quality is a bit questionable.
The stuff holding the guts in was like Spackle.

Yes they are. The rtr's are Asian made, unlike the rest of the Aeromarine hulls... for some reason
