    Water Cooling

I know this is a electric form but I have a gas rc boat I am building and I need to know if there is a way to cool it(weed eater engine) with water.

Your should run a water cooled head on the motor. Air cooling is ususally not enough. If the head isn't milled for water cooling you might want to get one.

    A good gas motor builder/retailer is: http://www.mastonsrcmarine.com/

Here's a pic of the stock Zenoah gas motor (about $200). You can see the black cooling jacket that surrounds the head. Most boats also gets cooling at the exhaust flange (where the header bolts up to the block) and mine gets addtional cooling where the tuned pipe connects to the header. My rudders has dual pickups.

The old trick used to be to turn down the cooling fins on the head using a lathe and then cut the end off an alum baseball bat for the cooling jacket. Now you can buy after market jackets on Fleabay as well as heads already modified for your motor. Just keep an eye out they show up from time to time.

What is your reason for wanting to cool it?
A lot of the weed eater engines are fine without cooling them unless they are modified then they typically need to be cooled.

              Try this forum http://www.rcuniverse.com/
you will find all the info you need.

Depending on the motor you have http://www.majorsmackdown.com/ has water jackets and can do the machining for you.
