Me and the misses are headed for Puerto Rico in Febuary... thats our Christmas Present to eachother... got one of them all inclusive deals... all food and drinks included... gonna put a hurting on "them" in the free drink department... I definately won't be drinking the water...Oh and I got her a New Autostart for the Trailblazer SS, its actually down getting installed at the local accessory shop today, that way I won't need to go out and start her vehicle in the morning during the Nasty months we deal with here in Vermont..... cause' as much as we all would like to think different, when shes happy, I'm happy... at least in one way that is....

Maybe all us FE boaters can learn from this true story that happened to Doctor friend of mine at Yale Medical. I am not quite sure how we can make this work for us ........................, but this is how he related the story to me.

My Dr. friend has a passion for building and flying large scale RC jets. He traveled around the country and even had a few storage areas where he keeps some of his planes while he was performing medical operations in different parts of th country. While a great surgeon, his passion was the Large Scale jets, most of which he built from scrach in his 4-car garage that was converted into a total hobby shop.

Needless to say this really pissed off his wife and she was always complaining and nagging him about it.

One day she borrowed his roomy 4x4 to go to the store to pick up some larger furnature items. She reached into his glove box to get a pen and found a bra! She became unglued, drove hope, went to his hobby area and with the biggest hammer she could find smashed to pieces one of the large jets he had been diligently woking on for the last 3 months.

We he came home his wife yelled for him and his 16-year old daughter to get into the kitchen that she has some thing important to say. She threw the bra in front of him and then yelled at him saying, "Explain this, Mister!".

The daughter immediately piped up and said "Hey mom, that's the bra I left in dad's car after the swim meet last week."

His reaction to me.............Absolute best thing that ever happeded to him. His wife now allows him to spend all the money he wants on his hobby and now she never says a word about him spending too much time in his hobby garage!

He gets his boat, hooker w/ x-mas lights, and you get to know a fellow boater better than anyone else here! Naw, never mind. With shipping you will probably get screwed in the deal...



Actually, I would settle for meeting one person in this hobby next year. Not much goes on in NE indiana I guess. I guess I did enjoy my time in the IMPBA when I was with the Grand Rapids area club. Good times, good people, just wish I could have learned how to drive..

* Believe it or not I don't have that problem, the wife supports my FE addiction. She bought me a UL1 last year and this year she bought me a Mini Cat Velocity mono for all the driving roadtrips we take I can have a boat with me at all times, she even gave it to me early
