    Awesome building/repairing stuff !

After years of building/crashing/repairing hulls & trying all kinds of stuff to build or mend hulls, especially those embarrasing gelcoat crunches , I finally found the best and easiest to use product (in my opinion): Evercoat Formula 27. Mixes with the enclosed hardener, ( work it like Bondo), sets immediately, sandable in 20 minutes, gets real smooth after sanding. Makes really nice fillets. $19.45 at West Marine for a lifetime supply. Yay !!!

So, how does this compare to Bondo? Is it similar? Easier to form or easier to sand?

    Looks like a good find

Mixes with hardner just like Bondo, starts out like creamy peanut butter, sets in @ 2-3 minutes, sands very easy & comes out less porous than Bondo, fairly shiny. For fillets I mask off the surrounding area & peel tape off as it sets. Apparantly its primary use is to fix/patch fiberglass boat hulls. Really like this stuff.

Tony, how well does it work as a dick stiffener, as I am in need of assistance...tried the magic drugs and I did not dance my way down to the local whore house.

Make sure it cures completely before "use" or keep a bucket of cold water handy

                Back to a serious note:

BEST boat building adhesives anywhere! This stuff is incredible. The Model Matrix stuff is the best way to install a stuffing tube that I have ever seen! The epoxies have incredible strength.

No problem Tony! I knew it was. My comment was intended as humor as well.

That's 8 oz. by volume, not weight as most epoxies are sold. It will last you a LONG time. The quality is well worth it. We spend a ton of money on our boats but balk at the funniest things.
