    Window Decal Pattern?

I'm trying to make a window decal for the Genesis & Apparition. Curious if anyone has already made one or knows of a template for them?

      LMAO, no!

This is for the decals, not for real carbon fiber. I picked up a cutter and am thinking of offering a carbon fiber like window decal. Just need to get the right shape. =)

I can probably just trace and scan and apply some curves. But figured I'd ask since there's a few guys here with vinyl skills.

Ive ALWAYS had a heck of a time trying to do a window decal.. Paint is so much easier. Its all that complex curve crap. Keeping wrinkles out etc....

A little bit of heat and some good vinyl goes a long way when trying to go around complex curves. I typically trace them out on paper and then make the decals from there and have had good success so far.
Sometimes a little bit of trimming is necassary on the windshields that have molding around them.

Yeah, I've done a few by hand, but want some better looking curves. I haven't had any problem getting them to lay flat on the hull. (I've been applying vinyl decals for a long time)

Just looking for a good shape to put on the cutter. =)

Just gotta play with it till you get what you want.
I made one for a insane G3 cat because customer didn't like the stock one he had,
took a few trys but once we got it I now have the template to make more.

What material do you use for color laser print decals?
I'm thinking about doing some more color laser printed vinyl decals for the hulls.

                  Don't do any laser cutting.
Everything is done on a plotter.
Typically Avery for most regular vinyl and 3M for digital stuff.

Oops, sorry I meant color laser decals. (stickers)

I haven't done any but have some that were done on a color laser printer that came out good, just not sure of the material.

                      Not sure about laser.
Everything I print is on a solvent printer and then gets laminated.
