    h&M VIPER setup

I just picked up a viper and was wondering the best class and setup for it? Right now the hull has no power so a clean slate. I just run for fun now but next year im thinking of racing. thanks

I would go with what they call the LSH class... it's the RTR systems, UL1, BJ, etc.
I would use a UL1 in that hull since she walks too hard with a big prop (that a lower kv motor would need), it's a fun hull, keep us posted!

    Are you really a "Noodler"?

thanks for the info UB. Nope not a real noodler. Its a nic name that stuck for about 15 years so far I guess I was tall and skinny in high school when the name stuck. Now Im tall and a little less skinny. Oh and what SC is allowed in LSH?

Since it's not an official class yet, I think it varies from club to club but I'd say a 120... maybe some of the club members that are really into the class could chime in... great hull I have one... love it.

Just my 2cents but, the viper is a bit small now for the power in lsh class as most are running up to 32" hulls now. I would think it would be bettor for n2 I think it is. 2 pole "l" size can largest you can run. At least that's how I think our club did it. If I race next season I plan on using a pt21 which I believe to be 29". I know some used viper and df hydro for n2.

I agree....A UL1 set up running by yourself would scream but would be tough under race conditions with 4 other boats. Speed would not be an issue but keeping it on the water would be.
I checked the H&M site and the Viper is listed at 615mm or 24 1/4 inch long
If you are able run in N2 Hydro, you may have better luck. Most guys run the Rigged Insanity in N2 on 2s and they fly.
              I hope this helps
