Stingers

Anyone know where I can get stingers for a twin drive?I need them roughly 100cm long.I dont need any high end hardware,just something that will function and be reliable.I guess it goes to say I dont want to spend a fortune on them.Also,I need them to accept 3/16 stub shafts.

100cm long !! I take it you mean 100mm long?? That is a very long stinger. Most gas singers are 90-100mm long 1/4 drive. I doubt you will find a 3/16 stinger that length. You mat have to have some one make them.

I think he mentioned low cost in the post. I would not exactly consider those low cost.......

a fortune is relative i guess. im shure sombody else on here knows were he can find them :D

think that FighterCat57 was talking about some long stingers a wile back for a genesis twin. might be worth a pm to him

Yeah,100mm.Sorry.Its for making a Genesis a twin.I think FighterCats production of the 3/16 stingers he was going to sell fell through.A fortune for me is $60-up each for them.Its not a hi-end build.

Larry have you checked Flea bay? Several inexpensive ones on there that would prolly work. Maybe not 100mm long exactly but look under "rc boat drives" and "rc boat stinger drives"
