Adjusting reverse speed on a Schulze ESC

Does anyone know how to adjust the reverse speed on a Schulze 40.160?

On a Castle HV240 you can set the reverse speed at 25% or 12.5%. Can't see how to do that on the Schulze. It just revs real high.

    Thanks for your help!

In the water my 40-160 goes slowly in reverse if I use minimal throttle. My instructions say that the boat will only run slowly in reverse. Try it in the water, not on the bench.

The 40/160's i have are v16, using dip switches, only off and on, no adjustability on the esc itself. Your radio will need to be programmed in that channel if you have one capable of programability per channel and limits and/or throttle percentages (the radio).

If you use the futuresoft program you can enable or disable reverse and also limit how much reverse throttle it will command.

That's what the guys at ICARE suggested. I downloaded the software, but haven't played with it yet. I'll post the results.

Sounds like a good plan B!

Thanks for all of your help.

AACK. The waterproof version has no USB port! The manual says there is another way to connect using the 5V SIO interface, but it requires a special cable.

You need to use the 5V connector and then it works fine.

Thanks. Just ordered it from icare-rc!

Can you adjust the reverse speed with the software?
