I never built a riggermajigger, but I need to make a 180 fit into my latest project which has a very narrow tub & needed the wires routed front-back without those pesky cooling lines sticking out the side. Never could figure out why the maker of these SC's configured the wires & cooling lines at right angles to each other. Did a creative engineering test on a bonkered 180 to see if I could accomplish this. Check it out

That's a great way to save space!

Now you can re-solder the wires at a 90 degree angle and solder on a cap because the OEM caps get HOT... and make a 10 gauge squid out of it.

PS- the main difference I've seen in the Turnigy vs Seaking is the Turnigy has no real warranty, where the Seaking comes with a warranty card that can be used at the MFR for repair or replacement. Worth a few bucks I think.

Turnigy has no waranty? Sure they do....
I have sent one and it was replaced with store credit. They did not have in stock to help me with straight replacement at that time and that is why I got FULL credit for it. Yes, I had to cover the shipping fees but hey, it was done under warranty.

Vendor warranty isn't a real warranty. It's at the vendor's discretion. Which to many stories I've heard means they are out the shipping costs too. Turnigy is a "Vendor Brand" which does not come with a Hobbywing factory warranty. Makes the cost cheaper with HK.

I had two ESC's blow caps on the bench and sent them back almost a year ago. They run them through the random excuse generator when I inquire. Now I'm out the shipping too. No credit.

Real warranties will have a warranty card with holographic emblem and you can send them directly in to the mfr for repair or replacement. Seaking's (Except the ARR versions) have a mfr's warranty card with them. Turnigy does not.

                Roger that...

( Me, I do not care about warranty card, I got what I should, results are important to me, not a preatty card, that is just what I think )

I could probably do something like Tony did... Ill hav to get my bro's and see???
Think i would need to remove the water lines from the side, plug them, then drill into the top for new nipples.

If this helps, the "side-nipple mod" results in a width of 2 - 9/16".
