    Zippy 5000mAh 5S2P on Titan 29"

Are these batteries too much weight to put in my Titan? I would use two paralled packs and the total weight would be 1,4Kg = 3 lbs

    http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=13963

    My present config is:
    Motor: Ammo 3650 2300Kv
    ESC: Hobbywing Seaking 60A
    Prop: Octura X640

Seems kinda heavy...................two of these in parallel would give you 6000mah at 884 grams.

      Here's 7200 mah at 990 grams -

Kinda high on the rpms as i wasnt really looking at your setup, just helping on the batts mainly. Also your ESC wont last long either at only 60a..............can a Seaking 60a take 5s? You'd be a whole lot better on 4s tops.
NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

By reading the specs of the motor and ESC they say 5S is possible.
That's the voltage spec of the Ammo Motor 2300kv 36-50 : Input Voltage: 14.8-18.5V

        http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...od=dh-gpmg5290

And that's the voltage spec of the ESC: 1.2 Input: 6-18 cells NiMH/NiCd or 2-6 cells LiPo.

So, I tought I can run 5S on my Titan.
Also I have ordered an X440 prop that is on the way.

Is good to avoid check motor and esc temps after 1 minute run at the beginning than if the temp are OK, 2 minutes and so on?

the weight is fine, talk to Fluid and he actually adds lead...

I am concerned with the size of the motor to weight of boat ratio. Its a good motor, but when you add that much weight to a small AND higher KV motor on high volts, I think you might be stressing the motor, which will then stress the ESC. Temps will definitely be a critical indicator, so be sure to check them as you mentioned at minute intervals. You may be OK with the 40mm prop.

with JesseJ, the weight isn't the problem, the voltage is... go with 4s pack for sure... I run two 4s2p 10,000mah in my titan... the extra weight helps hold it on the water.... titans have alot of lift so the weight is a plus actually.... but 5s is def too hot...
