      These are awesome!
I used to have one on the race bike. (previous model)

Might pick one up for the ski trip this year. Hit 68 on the GPS last year. =)

You might find this new Integrated Video/Audio/GPS and 3-axis accelerometer set up of interest. It weighs 2.2 oz total compared to the 5.6 oz of the neat camera referenced above. This short video will show you its potential in the RC world...............

I will be posting a new forum topic on it this week with more video. It is brand new but I want to incorporate more features. Because of the 2.2.oz weight and small frontal profile I think it will have great potential in the RC community.

              Joe,

I think that camera could really help a heat racer better understand what is happening speedwise in the turns and assist in prop selection and fine tuning.

Does Contour Cam/GPS have the ability to change how many GPS readings per second?

You always have all the cool gadgets. Now, if I only had enough free time to get over there and participate in the testing!

              Have fun on Wednesday...
              and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Brad[/QUOTBrad, I have nothing to do with the ContourCam. The video clip I posted is on a system I am developing now. It is, as I mentioned only 2.2 oz and also has the 3-axis accelerometer monitoring. Too bad you are busy on Wed. We will be flying it as well as two other systems on Radek's helo. The other two video systems are CCD based and not CMOS as the GoPro so we should not have the oscillations in the previous posted video. This is due tot he way that CMOScvameras sequentially read the pixels as opposed to the way it is done with CCD imagers. We will also include some vibration isolation this time.

                Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

So what's the target price for this mystery camera and when do you think it will be on the market? You need more beta testers?

Also that's one thing I don't like about the GoPro is the oscillation. When we put it in our dragster the picture is almost unviewable. Would be nice to use these to find out g forces on launch and shut down.
