That is much more where you need to be IMO...looks good Dana!! Now let her rip and see how things go! I also like the water cooling! If the ESC gets too hot you can always go with a 437/3...I like the three bladed props on that tunnel...always worked for me....

ok so i ran it today. much more stable, still hops in the turns a lil. one thing i noticed is the batteries were hot. like between 130 and 140 degrees. its 45 here in massachusettes and the water is COLD. the motor and esc were fine. where to go from here..... smaller prop?

Nice Dana! Glad it is working out!! Yes.....prop change. I used to run a 437/3 on my nitro (it's pretty much equals out to using a 440 2 blade i believe)....you could also go with Douggies suggestion (442 reduced ?)....egneg is a good guy and does nice work....

Thanks for the updates on your progress so far....keep us posted!!!

doug, what kind of mod? Doby, they're venom 20-30c 2s 5400. they always run hot in my ul-1 too. not enough juice? Kent, yeah im thinking something smaller, i have 40/52/3 grim prop i can throw on there. it's a bit smaller.... i'll start there. i love the 440/2 on my sv but i sold it for some reason. was my favorite prop. i'm gonna purchase another one. try that too

I use 30C 5800 4S Trnigys in my P spec tunnel and they have held up well this season. I suspect that The Venoms aren't up to the task.
