    Boat cam

I was at the local sporting goods store today was was looking at cams just to see what they had, they had this pretty sweet video cam, that was priced a $149 but there was also a sticker that said $79 for a sale from last week, I fiqure I get it.

    Here is some info:

I was going to mount it right to my boat.

Is it waterproof or dos it need a seperate fixture to be waterproof? I have a different brand camera but I was definitely impressed with it. These things are so cool. Check out my DF40 on-board vid:

I zip tied a small piece of pool noodle to mine and tested it in the sink to make sure it floated before using it on my boat. It proved to be a good idea, because it fell off on a high speed run and I was able to float it back in to shore.

Keith how are you keeping the water out of the DF40?? Do you run a cover under the hatch cover or a sealed box in the hull ??
