Just got mine. These look awesome!!! Can't wait to put some connectors on them. Now where did I put that soldering iron?....

How much longer are these going to be on sale?

What kind or real world gains will I see over trinity 7.2v 4200mah nimh?
            example: speed, run time

Your prices are great and I am thinking about the switch....

I would need a new charger and the balancers too, that is whats slowing my decision to switch.

Any user input would be greatly appreciated too.

            Regards, JL
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

I cannot answer your speed question exactly but let's look at the facts

7.2V vs 7.4V of LiPoly and a lower voltage drop during your run = more speed
              Less weight 200g vs 420g (454 = 1 lb.) = more RT and speed

However, NIMH is also a good power provider and I am not saying to drop NIMH completly, that's your decision. I do think that Lipoly and or Li-Ion is the future.

Hey Avanti --- when I put Lipos in my MM outboard I think there was a 6 to 8 mph gain in speed! Very noticable over the Nimh!

Ask Mrs Claus for some LIPO's for Xmas!
