    Sword fish 120 problems

I am trying to get my swordfish 120 to "SEE" my pistol transmitter and its not working. The only way it will work is when the throttle is all the way to full brake and then as soon as I start to let the trigger up the motor starts to run. It will always be running if i leave the trigger in the neutral position and not shut off untill full brake again. There is no neutral position. I have a Hitec Fm transmitter and reciever. I have tryed every setting on my pistol to no avail. Any ideas??

i think you need to servo rev the throttle channel and calibrate

sounds like you need to reverse the throttle.
      I agree with Alex.

This happened to my Futaba transmitter as well.

I did that and it does not respond at all. It will also beep 5 times , not three like it says in directions and does not go into calibration mode. I should have never bought this and stuck with the old tryed and pruven Castle 120 LOL.

I have used those as well and there great when you get them set up. I will try again tomorrow. Everyone sleeping now and motor makes LOTS of noise LOL. Anyway I may have just got way off base with settings. If the ESC would just see neutral i will be all set ! Thanks guys and i will let you know soon !!

I had to always hold full throttle on esc powerup and then let off after 3 or 4 beeps back to neutral. Had to do this every time!

Futaba and Multiplex the only 2 I noted need servo-rev on esc.

Hold Th WOT then engage esc.
beep beep beep beep silence... then
release during one of the following beepbeep beepbeep beepbeep sequences.
                Wait till confirmation tones played.

                All set
you do not need to recalibrate unless you...
                a) change cell count
                b) change anything Rx/Tx..
or c) disconnect Th from Rx when esc active ( flushes presets)
                W

Wow . You are correct. Thats what I have to do each time. If I dont than it will loose its connection. If I turn the transmitter off first its ok ! But anyhow its working. Thanks guys!!
