    FE Knee ; Ouch !!

Yesterday, for the third time in the last few years, I tripped going up the concrete steps at the lake holding one of my precious FE babies. Rather than drop the boat & brace myself with my arm/hand, I took it on the knee [again]

Now have two fairly permanent swollen knees. Ever happen to anyone else ?

Remember Jim Wilson at the last SAW's when he slipped on the dirt and fell on his side and knocking out the wind him? His boat went one way and he slammed hard. We need to be careful when walking with things in our hands.

I slipped on a river bank holding a gas mono, it was running at the time. Just a small nick on my arm. So lucky a very sharp MW3 prop could have nearly taken my arm off !!!
Hope ya knees get better mate

                  Tony,

I know it must be difficult to take your eyes of of your beautiful handiwork, but don't go killing yourself. We need you up and about.

I know I should have run boats with you on Sunday instead of running at my local lake. There was so much floating debris in the water I could barely make a clean pass.
I am very thankful for the kickback protection on my rudder!
We need to meet up again soon, I have a new motor in the Drifter S that makes it sing even more than before.....

                  Take care bud!

Joe, is great to hear from you again, once more I'll have to pass, damn work keeps getting in the way, but I will definitely take a rain check if you'd allow me?

                        Love your testing facilities.

Sorry to hear you and Brad could not make it. Conditions should be perfect with lots of boats to run. There will always be a next time! Joe
