I have one and if I were to set it up FE, I would go with the UL-1 setup....cheap and does it's job....

UL-1 all the way. It will give you the speeds your looking for and the cost is reasonable.

haha yeah well i was gonna go that route anyways, just wanted some more opinions. i run the ul-1 motor esc in my Ul-1 and supervee and i LOVE them. good reliable fast setup. is it bad for the motor to get wet tho? cause its gonna and there is no cover on the motor

Yep! I bought my boat straight from Remmy at Aeromarine in Seaford, DE around 1993.....

With a highly modded Kaboom a Gardner XXL throttle exhaust and a Garcia Mini Marine pipe, I have had my Predator up to 60+...and that was with the perfect setting, on the pipe, dialed in and the wind was just a breeze down the backstraight blowing torward the boat's transom. Even though it is a fairly heavy tunnel, I watched it that day lift off out of the water like it was a jet airplane taking off and then did a huge backflip and landed on the shoreline right side up (no damages other than a few scratches on the bottom of the sponsons!!!!!

Does your tunnel have just one steering rod?

UL-1 all the way with this one Dana.... The water will not hurt the motor bro...in fact I watched Mike L. (cybercrxt) run his upside down a few times after it flipped over just to see if he could bring it in....
