need some advice on hardware,motor choice,esc.would like to see this boat run 50mph without problems.is it worth it or find something else?

It is worth it
Epoxy glass hull, no gelcoat, fairly light boats if I remember the old prathers.
I have a $45 motor and ESC setup in my 40" scarab that sees low 30's, so I would think 50mph would be reliably possible, see what others propose. If i had to guess, mine takes 2hp to get to 33, so you would need around 4hp (3000 watts) to see 50? But this is out of my league, so just a guess.
What do others think? You can set it up as a nice scale looking boat, classic deep vee.
