1/10 scale classic hydro questions - Scale Scratch Build

I am new to electric boats and I am thinking about building a 1/10 scale classic hydro.
I have the classic round nose plans and I am wondering how do I know which boats I can build from these plans and keep it scale? I know some boats have variations and can't find much info on the subject.

If someone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it!

    Thanks,
    Jeff

also I have the 1/16th ted jones classic round nose.

Master roster at the link below
1/10th plans can make any plan #101 on newton marine

The 1/16th jones is more limited in the hulls you plan 105

If you want to make a 1/16th with a full cowl I have a bunch of Vacuum formed cowls for that boat and also an extra 1/16th scale Allison that I would be glad to make you a deal on.

The Notre dame 1/10 plans say G.Findlay I thought I saw gary somewhere.

Is there any other free plans available, these are the only ones I could find.
Thanks for the info on which boats I can build. I like the U-5 Lauterbach Special 1975 or U-54 Wildroot Charlie 1958....??

I am looking to build a 1/10 scale possibly to race in the 1/10 classic class.

                Thanks Jim,
On another note do you know if it would be possible to scale the plans up for a gas boat? Not sure how it would run or if anyone has done this??

I am leaning towards scaling up the 1/16 plans and making a miss wahoo boat.
Would you recommend using 1/16 for the bulkheads if I do?

On the 1/10 plans it says in some parts 3/32balsa & 1/64" ply that is a little confusing.

In your opinion knowing this is my first build which would you recommend as my first scale race build??

I really appreciate your input and help!!
