Once I get the transom set up I'll move to motors, ESCs and batteries.

Question, the drives use a 1/4" flex shaft which is good because I have a bunch. Will I be able to get a collet for the BL motors to accommodate this?
Well I just pulled the trigger on the above mentioned hardware. Evidentially this stuff will be shipped from Florida's SW coast so it should be here by Tuesday (if its in stock)

The short distance from me brings me to a slight complaint. I know I am paying top dollar for the products but why am I paying $50.00 to ship such a small package 100 miles. It is standard shipping.

In my business I can overnight a package double the size to California for that price. (I'm in SE Florida).

UPS ground within the state of Florida for this size package will cost around 12-16 bucks.

I was told by MHz they have a 50 dollar ordering cap on ANYTHING they sell, and that they lose so much on hulls. Guess maybe he failed to mention they make it up by having a 50 dollar shipping minimum? Lol

If thats true its about the dumbest thing I ever heard. What if I just needed a couple flex shafts I still have to pay 50 bucks shipping?

Do they have a problem charging shipping based on the size of the order?

Strange.....Sucks because now if I need a few small misc items they are going to nail me a $50 minimum in shipping?

Sorry I meant 50 dollar shipping cap on any size order, but I think you got that. I think if they charged 50 bucks to ship anything we would have heard about it by now, but who knows.

I get the $50 cap idea but two drives at 6.5", one rudder and a pair of trim tabs doesn't warrant a $50.00 shipping charge. I can fit everything in one pocket.

They must charge the shipping based on the dollar amount of the order. My order was $780.00 including tax and shipping.

Perhaps? Make a choice on power yet?

Thinking about that now but I'm kinda in the dark on the motors. I have a thread going in hopes that I can learn about BL motors.

What do you suggest? Here is what I have.

                50" deep vee hull
Twin motors with twin MTC power trim drives.
Looking for 50+ MPH and a decent run time.

How about these Little Screamers? Will two of them be overkill? They seem to be priced right.
