Sure is. Dick Tyndall is his name. He hangs out on www.intlwaters.com and his screen name is El zorro. If you want me to get his email or phone number, let me know.
I ordered the turnfin for the whip20 a while ago. I talked to him yesterday on the phone. He is really backed up and trying his best to get caught back up.
He seems like a nice guy, it just sounds like he has no free time.
well I have emailed, called, and sent pm's to him on international waters and never even had a reply its been a few months so I gave up trying...but a fellow boat racer (rc speed) gets hold of him easily!
I got a hold of him on the phone.
I have been waiting for my turn fin for about 4 weeks now. Luckily, I don't have a boat to put it on, yet, so I will just keep waiting.
I like the virginia fin because the mounting bracket has 4 bolts mounting it to the hull and not 2 like all the other mounting brackets that I have seen. The mounting brackets for the turn fins have always worked loose in the hydros that I have run. I am hoping that if I use 4 bolts to hold it, it will be more permanent.
Dick emailed me back, and said he was really backed up.
He gave me a store to contact that carry his sport 20 fins.
Just put an order in for it.....yay!
The store has 2 fins only and no brackets.I got the last bracket.
I've made brackets from speedmaster strut parts.easy
Here is the store email [email protected]
