4s-2p on a novak evx

I am stumped on this one and need a hand. I wanted to parallel a set of 4s packs in my villain. I made up what I though was the correct connector but was greeted with zap when I tryed to plug it in . If some one knows the proper sequence of + to - or - to + or + to+....Ugg I have a head ache. I would be greatfull.

If you open it up you will see that two of the red and black wires are shorted together. You will not need to use those for 4s2p. The picture shows what the bottom of the board looks like.

Looking at it further I think you may want to solder the + wires together.

Yeah I tought the same exact thing. +to+ -to-...nope dont work.

You do not want to go +to+ and -to-. One pair of the + and - are shorted together.

Paraell is: + to + and - to -

Series is: 1 pos to speed cont. The neg of that batt to the pos of the other batt with the neg of the second batt to the speed cont.

But what do you do when the esc is wired internaly to be run in series???????
