Guys,
I have a converted to electric vintage Atlas Van lines pickle fork Hydro. She weIghs about 22 lbs. It had run well in the past with a 2215 2y, c/c HV240 10s1p 30c and an x455, which may have been a little big.
For a while now the HV240's just stop working and 1 had shorted out, the other made it only one mill before shutting down. These were refurbs from Castle.
I am tired of the un-reliablility issue.
I have pulled that perfectly good setup. The motor ahd not even a half hour of run time one it. I have taken that setup up out, and plan to replace it with another HV240, Neu 1527 1.5y and an x442 or around there.
Is this the rIght motor? And since the motor is a 3 month wait, I just wanted to check with the more experienced guys, to see if this is a good setup, or are there better winds or even different motors so I can race, and come back without incident.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated,
Thank you,
Jeff
